I recently had the joy of photographing Hayley & Anthony’s gorgeous autumn wedding at St Fagans Castle, and it was an absolute dream from start to finish. With gorgeous autumn colours running through every detail, this day was effortlessly stylish, full of love, and packed with personal touches that made it unforgettable.

Tucked away in the heart of St Fagans National Museum of History, St Fagans Castle is a dream venue for any Cardiff wedding photographer. This 16th-century manor house is surrounded by manicured gardens, tranquil lakes, and winding woodland paths, making it the perfect setting for a romantic autumn wedding.

After the ceremony, we explored the castle’s breathtaking grounds, making the most of the Italian Gardens with their symmetrical hedges and timeless beauty. The autumn colours were at their peak, creating the most vibrant, golden backdrop for their couple portraits. Strolling down to the lawn by the lakes, we captured relaxed, natural moments as they soaked in their first few hours as newlyweds.
