Bristol and London Wedding Photographer Andrew Miller Jaffa Cakes

SOUTH WALES WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – BOBBIE LEE PHOTOGRAPHY

Hi I’m Bobbie! I’m a wedding and family portrait photographer based in Bridgend, Wales, travelling across the whole of the UK. I’m passionate about capturing memories and creating beautiful images that you will treasure for the rest of your life.

I’ve been a passionate photographer since I first was let loose with my parents old disk camera when I was 12. I purchased my first camera when I was 14 and shot so many rolls of film that I drove my family nuts. Passionate also about painting, I study Fine Art and Photography at the Kent Institute of Art & Design and Aberystwyth University. In my first job out of uni I started regularly photographing events and corporate functions. From there I started photographing weddings for friends and family, and instantly got hooked on capturing the joy, love, laughter and tears!

In 2018, following redundancy, I made the decision to finally turn photography into my full time vocation. I’ve had the fortune to train with some outstanding established photographers, and I’m always pushing to try new creative techniques to create stunning photographs.

When you book me you’ll get someone who is passionate about capturing the memories of your day as it happens, I’ll often catch the little things that are so easy to miss. I take a real documentary approach through the day, I’m not a show-off who makes a big scene, but I take the time to work with you and pose you in your couple portraits so that you get beautiful images that you’re proud to put on your walls or bring out in an album to show your kids in years to come. That’s why all of my wedding packages include an album.

All of my packages include printed product – the artist in me can’t help but get enthusiastic about seeing work printed and properly displayed. I’m passionate about preserving your memories for years and generations to come, and the best way to ensure this is to print your photographs – I’ve still got an 1880’s albumen print of my great, great grandmother who worked as a photographic assistant painting  colour onto black and white photographs.

When I’m not taking photographs you can usually find dancing (badly) around the kitchen with my kids or exploring the great outdoors. I live with my husband and our two young kids and we love getting out in the garden and growing vegetables and fruit, or  going on adventures walking and climbing mountains. I’m not afraid to get muddy if it gets me the right shot! I also still love to paint when I get a spare moment between chasing after kids and running a full time business, and if you’re interested you can see some of my work here – as you can see, I love bold and bright colours!

I love to see photographs where they should be: printed and on display rather than hidden away.
